A second half diving header by Danny Desormeaux from an Ed Moss cross ensured that Conwy came away with the points at Rhydymwyn today in a game that saw three sendings off and the home side finishing with nine men.
Conwy Borough were made to work for a 2-1 victory at home to Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant. The Tangerines scored through Gareth Sudlow and Alan Bull, but a Josh Wood penalty and a red card for Ellis Healing made for a nervy ending to the match.
Conwy were beaten 4-2 at Caernarfon on Saturday after going 2-0 down and being reduced to 10 men inside the first 20 minutes. Mike Jukes and sub Aden Shannon both scored to bring it back to 3-2 late in the second half, after a spirited effort
