Two New Arrivals

By Conwy Admin

Conwy Borough manager Brian Pritchard has added two new signings to the squad ahead of Saturdays home game against Ruthin.

The first signing is former Barbados international Neil Harvey who joins from Widnes FC. Harvey, who has also appeared for Macclesfield Town, has made six international appearances for Barbados scoring two goals. His first goal was on his international debut, in a World Cup qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago.

Harvey joined Retford United in the Evostik South League in 2005 and played for three seasons scoring 76 goals in 134 matches, culminating in 35 in 46 in his final season. He was tracked by Sheffield United and scored in a trial game for Lincoln City late in the 2007-08 season. He was signed by Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander in June 2008 joining the League Two outfit on a one-year deal. He returned to Retford on-loan in 2009, and then returned permanently in July 2009.

A spell followed at Marine Athletic in the Evostik Premier later joining Hednesford Town. He rejoined Marine in March 2014 before being signed for Cefn Druids under former Conwy Borough manager Chris Herbert during the 2014-15 season.

Also signed is central midfielder Jordan Brierley from Capenhurst Villa. His previous clubs include Runcorn Linnets and Vauxhall Motors. Brierley has a healthy goal return coming from midfield.
