Manager's thoughts on the game against St Asaph City

1 year ago By Andrew Brockbank

Following the home draw with St Asaph we caught up with Perry.

"Tonight was poor, we did not deserve anything from the game. Credit St Asaph they kept going and got a deserved equaliser right at the death. That said we did not deserve to hold on and win game. We have to stop conceding poor goals. It is a team effort and were not working defensively hard enough all over the park.

The performance tonight was poor, the players are given their instructions but tonight St Asaph shown more fight, energy and heart than us and that should hurt the players. There is no hiding at any level and those are the minimum any team should show. We have to dust ourselves down and train hard this week and hopefully with a few more bodies available we will get a positive reaction".
