Llandyrnog Utd Preview

1 month ago By Andrew Brockbank

With Llandyrnog Utd making the trip to the Y Morfa we caught up with Perry for his thoughts on the game

"Tonight we welcome Llandyrnog to the Y Morfa for our 2nd home game of the season. The visitors come here under the management of Ryan Harden and Jamie Hulse and have a squad packed with talent with many of the players having played under myself at Denbigh. The game will no doubt be keenly contested and I am sure both managers will be looking to get the three points. The visitors come here on the back of a home defeat to Llanrug at the weekend whilst we grabbed another win on the road at Barmouth.

The lads are looking forward to another game under the lights and we are under no doubt we will need to be better than we were at the weekend. The game at Barmouth saw us play some good stuff at times but we didn’t play for 90 minutes and only played in patches which always gave Barmouth a glimmer of hope with us not finishing chances off and also being wasteful when in possession in good areas. This is something we need to improve on tonight along with defending better throughout the team. Team news will see late tests on Tommy Creamer whilst Gethin Maxwell returns to the squad along with Matty Lock.

Its vital we get something from the game before we turn our attentions to the Cup but we must be better and will be looking forward to another huge test against a decent team".
