Greenfield FC preview

With the opening league home game of the campaign we caught up with Perry for his thoughts on the game

"It will be good to get back for a home game after two difficult games away to start the season. The players are looking forward to the game and I always feel there is a better atmosphere at any ground under the lights in midweek. They have trained well on Monday but we are under no illusions on how hard the game will be as Greenfield looked a good team last week when we watched them at St Asaph. The lads have started the season well and we know we will need to keep this form up in what is a difficult league. We will hopefully have a fully fit squad to choose from with doubts over Iolo Hughes, but Dylan Roberts has completed a suspension whilst we still await clearance on Tom Walsh. We could hand home debuts to Nathan Williams and Jamie Roberts after their transfers from Caernarfon Town were completed on Friday. It’s important that we approach the game in the right manner and look to continue our winning run and pick as many points up as possible early in the campaign before the cup competitions commence".
