Manager Gareth Thomas rotated the squad again with captain Iolo Hughes and Gethin Maxwell both rested whilst veteran Ant Williams was rested and placed on the bench. The manager handed home debuts to Ben Heald and Warren Adams.
The home side started the game at a high tempo and early on and had a few chances, on 9 minutes the opening goal arrived when a Jamie Roberts cross was headed home by Matty Lock who continued his recent run of scoring. The 2nd arrived on 15 minutes when the outstanding Jamie Roberts was allowed space and curled home from 20 yards. The home side were now popping the ball around the pitch with some superb passages of play. On 33 minutes a clearance from Vale keeper Neil Perkins saw Kevin Lloyd control the ball and lob the keeper from 35 yards with a superb finish. Conwy were forced into a change on 35 minutes with Guto Hughes replaced by Nathan Williams. On 38 minutes Conwy extended their lead to 4 when Jamie Roberts' cross shot found its way into the net with another long range effort. Straight from the kick off Conwy pressed and won the ball and a passage of play between Roberts and Tommy Creamer saw the ball played into Corrig McGonigle who found space and fired home to complete the scoring in a superb 1st half performance which saw Borough go in 5 - 0 up.
The 2nd half saw the game drift as Conwy moved the ball well without troubling a deep Vale defence, Chances were wasted with Creamer firing over with the goal open. Perry rotated the bench with Sion Hogan and Ant Williams coming on as the 6th goal arrived on 65 minutes when a Kevin Lloyd cross was volleyed home by Matty Hughes. The final goal on the night came right on 90 minutes when Kevin Lloyd picked the ball up and chipped the keeper for his 2nd of the night and complete a superb team performance for a convincing 7 - 0 win.
