FAW Trophy: Conwy Borough FC v Llanfair United FC 1330pm KO: Saturday 13 January

By Conwy Admin

Borough face Llanfair United FC from the Spar Mid-Wales League at Y Morfa on Saturday.

We caught up with Perry prior to the game this weekend against Llanfair United in the last 16 of the FAW Trophy.

He commented: "The players are looking forward to the game, since the defeat against Albion both the management team and the lads have had plenty of time to reflect on the performance. We have trained 3 times since and they want to get out on the pitch and get back playing. Everyone is aware that we have to be better as on the night we were not good enough all over and were second best throughout the game. That's gone and we move on, this is a massive cup competition with it being a national competition and we want to go as far as we can and hopefully challenge for the main prize. The squad has been strengthened with Dean Seager joining and he will give us further attacking options.

Conwy Borough FC v Llanfair United FC (1330pm KO).

Im sure todays game will see us come up against a hard working and well organised team so we will need to be on top of our game but its one we look forward to. I have been speaking to Rhys their manager who recently stepped down but having known him for several years they will be up for this game and will be backed by a full coach travelling with the team.
